Hi friends! I'm so sorry I had to skip the July page. You'd think only doing one per month would be manageable for me, hahh... but a lot went on during July that really kept me busy (flying to another state for a funeral, people staying with me to visit, my living room ceiling collapsing, trying to get as much writing done before school starts up again in the fall so I can start putting my thesis together....) And it seems like when I'm overwhelmed or my down time feels limited, I prefer doing random art to relax instead of comic work. Thanks for all your patience, ppl!
EDIT ON SEPTEMBER 1ST 2021:
Lmfao seriously when will my life be normal again? As some of you may have figured out, I live in New Orleans. The entire city has been without power for 3 days due to infrastructure damages from Hurricane Ida, which was a Category 3 or 4 storm (I don't even know?????) that hit the city a few days ago. It'll be at the very least a few weeks before power is totally restored but in the meantime I am eatimg crackers and uncooked ramen and warm beer and being destroyed by bugs because keeping our windows open all evening is the only way to keep the apartment cooler than 90°. It's kinda crazy but kinda fun. I haven't been able to use my computer since Sunday night when the storm hit. Comic strip is obviously delayed. Literally when did my personal timeline split off into this insane universe I live in now? Anyway I'm totally fine and in no danger of anything other than inconvenience. Stay cool, friends. I wish I could.
